As with any major project, establishing a budget is a critical step in the process.  Not only do you need to consider the playground equipment itself, but you must also account for the installation and inclusion of other elements for your Total Park Design.

Things to Consider When Making a Budget

  • Benches/Seating Areas
  • Tables
  • Litter Receptacles
  • Drinking Fountains
  • Shade Structures
  • Safety Surfacing
  • Safety Surfacing Containment
  • Sidewalks/Access
  • Ground Level Play Activities

These elements con not only enhance the of the play environment, but can also add to the overall enjoyment of all those using the playground, including children, family and community residents.
